I am honored to have been invited to present at NZ's International Yoga Festival 2018. I will be presenting two workshops during the festival as detailed below. Timetable will be announced closer to the time.
Session 1: Master Your Om Does your Om feel weak and croaky? Are those three Om’s at the end of class not quite enough? They say practice makes perfect and this is your opportunity to Om to your heart’s content. After a brief introduction we will launch into the repeated chanting of Om for an extended period. This practice moves you through any fears and limitations, allowing you to experience the true power and resonance of your voice.
Session 2: Mastering the Emotional Release Ever heard that “Emotion is stored in your hips” or experienced a wave of emotion during your practice? In fact, our whole body stores emotion. Asana and meditation are two ways of shifting and releasing stored emotional energy. A discussion of concepts will be followed by a deep, experiential yin yoga practice and guided meditation.
